Suggesting two must watch movies for this weekend.
Amour (2012)
A great, intimate and lovely human drama
A story of retired music teachers in their 80s who have been together
for more than half a century Georges played by Jean-Louis Trintignant and Anne played
by Emmanuelle Riva. Since the 1950s, these two great actors are icons of French
films.
The movie depicts the never ending love of Georges to his love Anne when
she suffers two serious strokes and loses her powers of speech and movement.
This
great movie is created by Austrian writer-director Michael Haneke.
Dark Horse (2011)
Ugly is beautiful in this sweet romantic comedy.
Another touching movie from the maker of great movies like Welcome to
the Dollhouse and Happiness, Todd Solondz
Abe Wertheimer played by Jordan Gelber who is in his 30s living with his
parents meets Miranda played by Selma Blair a fellow underachiever with
arrested development. The story is about the events which take place in their
lives after they find each other. The roles of parents are played beautifully by Christopher
Walken and Mia Farrow.
