So! Can we change the World…?

We have this thought pass us by…

We want to change the world make it little better or shall I say lot better from what we see it become as the days go by…taking a shape of monster. Monster indeed created by our very own race.

When you sit down and pickup that newspaper and all you see and read on that front page is how efficiently the next gen bomber wipe out the whole town just on suspect of certain terrorist activity, Meanwhile your TV news channel flashes in red alerting you to a war for the holy land where hatred has become a holy song… Terror engulfing the town and human lives because we cannot resolve our difference by mere talk and killing and exterminating those who hold different view comes easy… Politicians eating up the country and corruption being responsible for death and obliteration…Atrocities taking away the soul of not just individual but society and world as whole…Innocence are lost to abuse…The standard of living are rocketing sky high and poor are dying for that stale loaf of bread and while some countries are celebrating fall of a tyrant the other suffer for a drop of water…

And you find yourself sitting quite in a corner of your head searching for the picture of happy and peaceful days and you ask yourself “Where is that better tomorrow, A better World”…You cry out in silence and wish the world would change.
But does it, or will it change by our sheer wishes…No it will not.

Do we really do anything about it, can we do anything about it and will we ever take that step which will help make this world a little less unendurable???

Will We???

There is always a start…We have to be the change…To see the change.

Every big change was a result of a small step taken with courage by someone who thought it’s worth taking a chance today then to sit and complain and cry over it in coming days. It works...yes it does!

Let’s take a chance to make that difference that we all so desperately want…Start can be as simple as making someone smile…as simple as helping that old man cross the road…as simple as getting together for what is worthwhile…And a thought of  better world is worth that chance.

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”

  1. that was well said...

I see it everyday, father and uncle arguing about politics, and more and more people I talk to, they only have one solution which is to hang them politicians or whomsoever is responsible for the apparent bad situation. People dream so much, and talk a lot about a perfect state, but nobody gets off his/ her comfort zone and take a simple step of making a small difference, be it saying hello with a smile.

Let start even if something very small like helping an old man.

A good thing is that lots of us have started something - the people have started volunteering at NGO's as a teacher, farmer, activist so on so forth.

But i guess important thing is nay, the prime thing is to believe that we are making a difference, though it may seem very small.

As i have seen people thing that they are not making a bid difference when they again pic up the newspaper and give - in to the negativity cast by the atrocities happening around the world.

So wherever you are, whatever you are doing. keep up the good work... We shall overcome
