Why don’t we just start supporting each other?

Why don’t we start changing the world by supporting each other? It sounds so easy to put into words. Change the world, start by changing the world around you.

Start supporting:

Support that woman on the bus or the train who is often too afraid to speak out against abuse, support her and see what happens, for once, don’t look away. Support that father who pulls his cart along deserted city streets selling vegetables in the sun and the rain. Support the small businesses, don’t fall for the glitz and the glamour of the bigger fish yet, we all have to grow big together.

Support the environment by cleaning up, don’t litter if you can help it. You don’t have to be a recycling warrior. Just don’t add to the growing waste, clean out your neighborhood and its streets once in a while, some hard earned sweat is worth more than its weight in gold.

Support your country because it needs you. You are as much a part of it as it is of you. Don’t be a party to corruption, and don’t let it happen too. If there is a service on offer, use it and please don’t abuse it, let the people around you know that they too have a say. The nation needs your support because you are the nation and the nation is you.

Start supporting the world; be compassionate about people and their hardship. Imagine the plight of children who grow up with fear of landmines and rockets, you too can be a voice that echoes across boundaries and transcends silly lines to reach out to the ones who need to hear it the most. You don’t have to be a revolutionary; just don’t let ignorance get the better of you.

There are infinite opportunities for you to support somebody or something. It could be something small, a small idea that needs your support to grow to something wonderful. Support the people around you, help bring them up. Buy local, even if it means buying it again in a few months, help them raise the levels of their production by giving them ample support.

Start supporting yourself by realizing your potential and exceed them because you can. Back yourself up and please realize the power that you hold. Support is a wonderful thing; it can really change the world.
