We have forgotten about the power behind our words and our
thoughts. Everything you see around you today in the 21st century
probably exists because somebody thought of it at some time and spoke about it
too. The house you are living in was thought of by the one who wanted to build
the house; every idea has its seed in a thought, be it a conscious or an
unconscious thought. You are where you are because of your thoughts, your words
and your actions. It all begins from a thought in your mind, my mind and most
definitely our minds on the whole. The thoughts of one affect the other, all
matter is energy and thoughts are vibrations of that life force within us. We
have managed to contaminate our environments with thoughts, every kind of
degradation and depravation that is happening on our planet today is seeded by
thought. A collective result of this is all the famine, war, poverty, hunger
and inequality that we have in our world today. What if I told you that we can
change all that simply by refining our thoughts, meditating on them and
connecting our vibrations with one another and the planet as a whole?
Words also hold incredible power and although it is known
that speech is among the most primitive forms of communication, there is no
denying the power of words in not just our world but in any world. We are
blessed with the power of words but we seem to be misunderstanding and misusing
that power every time we open our mouth. As a race we talk simply too much now,
on the phone, on the TV, at work and everywhere else in between. Some of us
talk because it’s part of our profession and some of us talk because we can but
is it really doing any good??
What happens when we distort the meanings of words or don’t
pay heed to them? For instance, we live in a democratic world today; the world
democracy is misused to the point that it has lost all its power and all its
value. Another example of the decline of the power of words is the word love,
it has lost all value in our world, and our love seems to be limited and so
small. In the same way, our words seem so limited and small. Surprising as it
may sound, we can change all that simply by considering our words, weighing
them and making sure that nothing is spoken in vanity or without understanding.
Our thoughts and our words shape our reality in ways that we
have little or no idea about. There is neither good nor bad, our thoughts make
something appealing or revolting, our words label something as good or bad. We
then go on to distort reality as we like transforming them with thoughts and
words, unaware that we are taking part in the process of creation itself.
Don’t take anything you read or hear or even see as the
truth, find out for yourself. Thoughts are creation; our awareness of this
process has greatly dwindled as we are otherwise engaged most of the time.
Words hold great power, with our words and the words we hear, we shape our
opinion and give shape to our thoughts which in turn gives shape to our
reality. Wouldn’t it then make sense to surround oneself with good thoughts and
speak good words? Good words come out if we carefully consider our words, are
mindful of the thoughts behind them and remember to keep a positive approach. Following
this is among the most difficult things I have tried and it’s also among the
most enjoyable. Happiness is not a distant concept anymore but a constant
companion, its changed my life, I hope it will also change yours.
