Humans are amazing creatures; they are capable of something
that probably no other living creature on this planet is capable of, thought! However
it dawns to this person that there are many of us who don’t spare a thought. We
don’t spare a thought of gratitude that we are safe and in good health, we don’t
spare a thought for the dying and the departed and neither do we spare any
thought for the suffering. Does it mean that we have become thoughtless? No,
but it does probably mean that we are losing our humanity.
The world is lost in useless squabble over things that don’t really exist, over something that is not really natural. A whole lot of room to think for here ((((((())))))))))))We are also lost in blinding circles of faith that promise magic, mystery and miracle but advise to stay away from adventure t experimentation. Religion has done more damage than good if we look at the long term implications that it has had over humanity. Consider all religions of the world and how many times has violence become a part of their play directly or indirectly. Why is it that we still have our opinions about religion and we stick to it even though on the outside we even sometimes pretend that we are open minded when it comes to things that don’t affect us directly at that moment in time.
Human beings should first be treated as human beings above
anything else and if possible only as human beings. But we don’t even look at people
as our equal, young or old; he or she, junior or senior, minster or king, after
all everyone is human and we should all choose humanity over any other religion
that we have come up with. There is no greater collective than the collective
that is the human race.
