Why are we
always fighting when all of our beliefs are the same?
Here is a comparative study which explores the similarities between three Abrahamic religions which divided our world; Islam, Christianity and Judaism.

Conclusion
GOD
One true God.
Faith in the one true God.
Monotheistic religion
Christian, Judaic and
Muslim believers ought to come forward for discussing and worshiping the
one God they hold in common.
Prayer
Pray five times a day
Pray seven times a day
Says a short prayer-“ Lord, Blessed are you ", a minimum of a hundred times daily with
adoration for the bigger and smaller gifts from God received day by day
Daily prayer is highly valued.
Holy Places
There are many sacred places, particularly Jerusalem. If financially
and physically in a position, each Muslim is anticipated to form a journey to
Mecca.
Jerusalem is considered as the Holy Land.
Jews consider Jerusalem sacred in regard of the demolished temple.
Peace can prevail if everybody appreciates same or neighbouring
sacred spots of all three religions.
Fasting
Muslims fast with no water, food or drink until after sunset during the
ninth month of lunar calendar (Islamic calendar), Ramadan.
Christians fast and lent for 40 days every year averting themselves
from temptations, drinks and meat especially.
Every year Jewish people fast strictly on Yom Kippur, with no eating
or drinking for a whole day. They also fast on Tisha B'av, in August.
All three faiths do the fast to develop self-discipline and to look at
others suffering with compassion.
The Book
Quran (Koran) is the message of God which is a collection of
messages.
Bible – A union of Jewish Bible and New Testament
Bible – which is same as the Old Testament of Christian Bible
In these books the messages are same and if we spend some time to
study other books too then peace is not far away.
Alms-giving
Muslims consider it their duty to pay a particular amount for the
poor and for good causes.
Christians has to share a portion of their money and time with the
deserving.
Jews who consider themselves as the Chosen People has a duty to take care
of poor, orphans and widows.
All three religions encourage giving to the poor and helpless.
Weekly Worship
For Muslims, Friday is the day of weekly worship.
Christians celebrate the Sabbath on Sunday
Saturday is the Sabbath for Jewish people. That is from Friday
evening to Saturday evening
Three religions set aside one day of every week for prayer
Jesus
Muslims consider Jesus Christ as one of their holy messengers.
Jesus is the way truth and life for Christians. He is the Messiah or
the saviour. He is divine, the Son of God
Jews don’t consider Jesus as Messiah. But they acknowledge that he
taught in synagogues and his teachings were similar to Jewish scriptures.
All the religions does not believe in Jesus as the Christians does
but they all recognise and respect Jesus
Abraham
For Muslims Abraham is the great prophet and a special messenger from
God.
Christians consider Abraham as the father of believers. The prominent
quality of his obedience to god by showing the willingness to sacrifice his
only son makes him close to their hearts.
Jewish persons respect his trust in God leaving home for an unknown country.
In all three religions Abraham hold a position of great respect.
Belief in Assistance
Muslims submit themselves to Allah and ask for guidance and to show
them the right way during troubles.
Christians pray for divine intervention during their troubles and to
show them the right path.
Jews believe that God assisted them in the past, is assisting them in
the present and will do the same in the future.
All three religious groups believe that God comes to our assistance,
and their members pray accordingly.
We must
think deeply considering the facts mentioned above.
Why are the brothers, sons of Abraham always in war?
Instead of making new differences and disputes, Jews, Christians and Muslims need to focus on the common factors that can bring world peace.

By doing that we can transform religion
